Nature of the Service

This is a private reference with no ties to Harrison County, North Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, WVDCR, a court, or any other government office. It stores no official jail roster, release file, or court record. We cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, or submit an official document for a visitor.

The service points visitors toward public inmate and jail record resources for Harrison County and may connect them with outside research tools. A link or explanation does not turn the site into the custodian of the source record.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the service only in ways permitted by applicable law.
• Do not use information to stalk, intimidate, harass, or threaten another person.
• Do not rely on site material for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
• Do not attempt to enter an account, server, or system without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with access, performance, or use by other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Harrison County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and our advertising partners do not provide screening through this service. You agree that information obtained here will not be used for:

• A decision to hire, retain, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
• Tenant selection, housing eligibility, or rental screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit.
• Any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Third-Party Destinations

Links can lead to WVDCR and Harrison County resources, release-record portals, federal locators, legal-aid information, and outside search providers. We do not endorse or control their content, privacy practices, terms, pricing, availability, or data. Review the destination’s policies before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No promise or warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability.
• The absence of errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.
• The scope or completeness of results returned by a search partner.

Custody status, release details, and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by WVDCR, the Harrison County Sheriff, North Central, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Harrison County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to or use of the site.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site and its owners, operators, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Harrison County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify those materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted here, and later use of the service is subject to that version.

Suspension of Access

We may limit, suspend, or end access to all or part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

West Virginia Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in West Virginia. Public-record access described in site content is subject to the applicable state process, including W. Va. Code §29B-1-3.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
